Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By downloading or using the "Student Graduation Debt Timer" app (the "App"), published by Creatively Apps Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17537980) ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. What the App does
The App estimates how much interest may be accruing on a student loan, based on figures you enter (balance, graduation date and interest rate). It displays these estimates in real time and offers illustrative comparisons and equivalents.
3. Not financial advice
The App is provided for general information and education only. It does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or professional advice, and must not be relied upon for any financial decision. The calculations are simplified approximations and may differ materially from the interest and balance calculated by your lender. UK student loan interest is calculated daily and applied on the lender's own schedule, and real rates change with income and inflation. For accurate figures, use your official Student Loans Company account.
4. No affiliation
The App is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the Student Loans Company, the UK Government, gov.uk, any university, or any lender. All names are used for identification only.
5. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. You use the App at your own risk.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the App or its estimates. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse engineer it other than as permitted by law, or use it in any unlawful way.
8. Changes
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
